My mother is getting rather old and I have been looking at nursing homes Houston for her. I am looking for something which will keep her really comfortable and that she will enjoy and there do seem to be quite a few of those there. I have also been looking at some nursing homes San Antonio which is where I live. I would love it if she was nearer to me, as I would really like to visit her more. I feel like we have precious few years left together now and I want to spend as much time with her as I can. I know that she likes where she lives because it is near to her friends and they will visit her. This makes me a feel a bit guilty about wanting to move her, because she will obviously miss them and them her. However, they are getting older too and she has lost a few friends recently and that made her get frailer and feel older and so I wonder whether being further away from them might be an advantage. I think that I will collect brochures for homes in both areas and talk it over with her when I next go and visit.
